Scooters, drones, hoverboards, and Ubers are just some of the new vehicles that are taking over our sidewalks and roadways. Now Segway, which introduced its own newfangled transportation device almost two decades ago, is officially unveiling the Loomo Delivery, an autonomous robot with a built-in camera and sensors that looks similar to a file cabinet on wheels. Designed for last-mile scenarios, the Loomo Delivery is able to avoid objects and people, even in crowds, and can hold up to 110 pounds of coffee, mail, groceries, packages, and more as it glides through shopping centers, office buildings, and even fairly flat neighborhoods (though it can go up and down ascents of 8 degrees). Segway plans to release the Loomo Delivery later this year.
